To add on to what's happening at 1530, the scouts that have Field Day Competition on Saturday 23rd July would be preparing for the competition itself. Those who are not participating would be playing patrol games.

Reguarding field day, these are the reporting details. Please be at ASC(I) in Full Scout Uniform at 0730. Any change in details (if any) will be announced tomorrow.

Cheers,
Andre and Daniel :)

Hello guys,

As you guys would have heard for the past few annoucements, there will be a SJI Campfire on the 16th July. Details for what will happen and what time you arrive will be given at a later date/time. With every fire, we will need to put it out! So, after the campfire, we will be staying over at SJI (for bonding and more exciting activities at night like mugging math) to basically, clean and clear up EVERYTHING. That includes the gateway (that we are going to build), the firepit, the logistics and more heavy-sounding-but-actually-light stuff that your efficient QuarterMasters will instruct you on the day itself.

Let's focuss on what to bring instead of what's going on. Since we are staying over, some of you will not know what to bring, right? Like what to do during the aftermath of the campfire.

Instructions are simple really. If you need help deciding what to bring on Saturday (the attire to be worn on the day itself when you report is to be confirmed), go to 'Downloads' on the left of your screen. Click on the file  'personal_equipment_list_for stayover_at_sji.docx' and you should be able to access the (recomended) packing list for Saturday.

Well, thanks and God Bless. Do your very best for the SJI Campfire! Remember the songs. The seniors have worked extremely hard on it. Do it for them, yeah?

Cheers,
Daniel Tow

Hi Guys,

Ok so there are a few updates concerning tomorrow's training :
1) Bags and belongings are to be placed in either the 204 classroom, or the 205 classroom. If you go there and see that 204 is open but 205 closed, then place your stuff in 204 :) Valuables, as usual, are to be surrendered during general fall-in.
2) Please Fall-In at 1500hrs in the PRETZEL after placing your bags in the classroom, changing, eating lunch and doing all the things that you need to do.
3) No one is to enter the Den at any given time. Anyway, there shouldn't be a reason for you to enter the Den cause all your belongings should be in 204/205. But in the event that you do need to retrieve something of utmost importance, find a sec 4/3 for assistance. But pleasee do not step foot into the Den. :) it's  Out-of-Bounds for everyone.

Lastly, be prepared to sing and shout during tomorrow's training (But not that much cause campfire's on sat :)) cause as you can see from Daniel's earlier post, we'll pretty much be doing campfire rehearsals the whole day. Take some strepsils if you got to and remember to do your best! :D

Also, try not to forget the lyrics to any song. If you've got any doubts, clarify them now with your PL. As they should've told you , everyone is to know all the lyrics by heart.

Cheers,
Andre :)

Hello Scouts,

Yes, there will be training this week and the details are as follows:

Date:  15st July 2011 (Friday)
Time: 1500 - 1930
Attire:  PT Kit ONLY
Duty Patrol: Lion Patrol

1500 - 1515: General Fall-In
1515 - 1700: Campfire Rehearsal
1700 - 1900: Campfire Rehearsal (Full Dress)
1900 - 1930: General Fall-Out

I hope you guys have rested enough from Anniversay Parade. This friday will be used to prepare intensely for our SJI Campfire on Saturday (16th July). Because the campfire's on Saturday, keep your uniform clean and do not bring it on Friday. Let's look forward to this Saturday!(:   (So that we can start studying.)

Yours In Scouting,
Daniel Tow
